I started this blog in 2003. I write about sports, technology, politics, pop culture, and current events through a Jewish perspective.
About Me
I am a rabbi in the Metropolitan Detroit area. I graduated from the Jewish Theological Seminary in NYC, where I was the first Gladstein Fellow and received a master's degree in education from the William Davidson Graduate School. Currently, I am a participant in the Rabbis Without Borders fellowship through Clal - The National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership. I am the director of a weekly high school program for Jewish teens as serve as the rabbi of Tamarack Camps.
Additionally, I founded Kosher Michigan, which provides kosher certification and supervision services to local businesses.
I am interested in how modern technology affects Jewish life, particularly the impact of the Internet on the Jewish global community. I also write the "Jewish Techs" blog for The New York Jewish Week.
