Chancellor's 18th Year at Seminary

A Tribute to Ismar
2004 marks Dr. Ismar Schorsch's eighteenth year as Chancellor of The Jewish Theological Seminary. This landmark anniversary will be recognized at a major, celebratory event, A Tribute to Ismar. Dr. Schorsch is the sixth chancellor of The Jewish Theological Seminary and is the Rabbi Herman Abramovitz Professor of Jewish History. Under Dr. Schorsch's leadership, JTS continues to inform and elevate the religious lives of Jews far beyond its Manhattan campus.

Please join us for this gala celebration of Dr. Schorsch's extraordinary leadership. The event will include a video commemorating Dr. Schorsch's achievements, walking tours of the JTS campus, and a historical photography exhibit.

For information on this event, including details on tickets and the event journal, please call the JTS hotline at (212) 280-6025, or via email at publicity@jtsa.edu.
