With the untimely death of your beloved uncle and your ties to the Detroit area, you may be interested in knowing about Sky Foundation, Inc.
We are a wholly-volunteer, Detroit area, non-profit organization that is raising funds for research to find a diagnostic test for the early detection of pancreatic cancer.
Our founder, Sheila Kasselman, is a Jewish woman surviving pancreatic cancer, and her physicians asked her to establish a foundation to fund this research. Since June 2008, we've raised $60,000 toward our immediate goal of $100,000 when our researchers at the Karmanos Cancer Institute and Henry Ford Health System can begin their research project. The scientific tools are available, and all that is needed is funding.
Please visit our Web site, www.skyfoundationinc.org for further info, and spread the word about our organization if you think it appropriate.
Thanks!Dave W.http://www.skyfoundationinc.orgnoreply@blogger.com
